Each Metzig guitar is manufactured with quality materials and built for out-of-the-box playability. When you buy a Metzig guitar you are buying an instrument that is built by a musician for a musician. Metzig guitars are built for the players who demand style and qouality. Each finish is applied with the best methods in the market today and each finish is designed to be seen and noticed. 

Our Standard line or Base Model guitars currently come in two varieties. Each variety is of the same quality with woodworking and finish differences only.

Standard Editions

The Standard Editions include the Metzig Orion Star ^TM finish which is a durable multi-step finish that will identify the instrument as a quality Metzig instrument. The Metzig Orion Star ^TM finishes come in variations on these 3 colors; red, blue and green. Each instrument finish is accented with a hardware color scheme to bring out the style of the finish. We are always experimenting with new finishes and more will be available as time progresses.

Special Editions

Our Special Edition models are based on our standard models with finishing differences and wood working modifications. Each Special Edition guitar is of the same quality as all of our guitars. Special Editions are identified by the Flamed or Quilted maple drop-tops with an attractive hardware scheme. Each finish is a dyed wood grain with an accenting binding.
