Web Sales

Our production capabilities are currently limited to about 6-10 orders per month. In an effort to build quality instruments we do not rush the process, so ordering an instrument will take a little time to build. But we think you will be happy with the wait once you receive your instrument and begin using it.

How our ordering process works;

For stocked items: 

Check our In-stock page and use the "Order this item" link and we will process your order promptly. Be aware however, that we do not have a real-time database ordering system at this time and the item you select may have been sold before we update the site. Currently we do not keep a large amount of stock items on hand. This is the reason why we do not offer an on-line catalog type storefront. 

 For not-in-stock items:

 For those who are committed to purchasing a Metzig guitar, we will create a Sales Order. By creating a sales order you are given a guaranteed spot in our production schedule (first in first out). However, it requires a 20% down payment for us to do this. This is refundable up to the point that the Build Order is cut and production begins on your instrument. If you decide after your Build Order is cut that you do not want to commit to the final sale, you have up until 30% of product completion (we will keep you informed at your request) to have 50% of your deposit refunded . If the build percentage is beyond 30% you will have to forfeit your deposit (sorry). By this time much time and energy has been invested in your request and we cannot stay in business that way. We really want to stay in business, read our mission statement!

 
2 Build Orders are then cut and the process of manufacturing your guitar is executed within our production schedule. At specific intervals of manufacture you will be notified of the progress of your build order. 

 
3 Once the instrument is completed, we will notify you for the final payment and the your instrument will be shipped upon receipt of payment.

 
Note: If you want to wait for a stock item without the Sales Order %20 down guarantee, you can be placed on our in-stock waiting list. When a stock item is ready for sale we will notify you in a first-come-first-serve priority fashion via e-mail in 24 hr increments. (Each recipient has 24 hrs. to respond. So if you are number 10, then you get notified 11 days after the number one guy.) 

Pretty simple process. What is your biggest concern?

Quality? - No worries. Number 1) Like we said: "We build quality instruments."  If that isn't enough then you have 10 days to return the item in it's original packaging without any modifications or user damage to us for a full refund. We reserve the right to refuse the return without an RMA # or if the item is not in it original packaging, or  if the item has signs of abuse or modifications without our consent/approval.
