Our Philosophy

Designs

We look to keep our products fresh in the design area. Body designs that keep the imagination intrigued. We don't just do "odd" shapes and call them unique. Each designs detail is carefully constructed in the design phase for a unique look that gives a thoughtful appearance. We like looks that are on the wild side and some that are classic in an effort to provide something that suits most tastes. Furthermore, we don't try to mimic other guitar designs. There may be some characteristics that are shared by other manufacturers, but our goal is to strive for uniqueness.

Workmanship

Like the logo says, "Hand Crafted". Each instrument is built from start to finish with the same thought in mind..."If it was mine, I would want it to be as perfect as two hands can possibly accomplish.". Every detail is analyzed and a quality judgment is applied. If it just isn't right then it is made to be right. The integrity of the instrument is the utmost goal.

Hand crafting in a world of mass production is a fading art. But that does not have to be the case. Instrument building should be as intimate as playing the instrument. There is an intimacy between crafter and materials. It's an "agreement" that results in a fine instrument that will last a lifetime with proper care. Each instrument is like a child that is sent out into the world to do great things.

This is a work of passion. We do not build guitars to get rich or to satisfy accountants looking for big profits. We build to provide a quality product that is carefully constructed for playability from the first moment you pick it up. You can spend $2000 on a guitar that you can't play comfortably until you invest in a tech to get it setup properly. That shouldn't be. Even if you spend $800 you should be getting a playable guitar.

Components

Each part or component is carefully picked for aesthetics and functionality. From electronics, hardware and finishing materials, only the highest quality parts are chosen. There is no point in putting hours of work into an instrument only to put non-supportive components into it.

We try in as many cases as we can to use American made components. Enough jobs have been lost to cheaper labor countries. Not that we want to deny work for impoverished people, but we cannot forget about our own.

Pricing

We price our instruments to be as competitive as possible. You are paying for good quality components and craftsmanship. We do our best to keep costs down and pass it along to the buyer. We will always try to keep our pricing as low as possible and still be able to grow and continue to provide quality products to our customers.

Our pricing is based primarily on the amount of work that goes into the instruments construction and any special higher cost components. In other words, if it is labor or process intensive it will be reflected in the price. If components are of higher grade than our standard then that will be a price factor. Each price has an actual reason for it. We don't price because of "popularity" of a product. You pay for what you get. No more. No less. It's the fair way to treat your customers.

Goals

Growth and Customer satisfaction

We want to continue to grow at a controlled rate in order to continue to provide quality instruments. Only through controlled growth can we build in quality. We never want to have to rush our processes. We do plan to increase our productivity, but only through improved process and labor additions.

Continued exploration of the guitar and it’s possibilities

We want to be able to stay on top of the ever-changing guitar innovations and provide current technology in our designs and components. We will always strive for new looks and finishes that standout against the norm.
